As if he hasn’t complained enough about Governor Pat McCrory, Democrat Roy Cooper is harping on North Carolina’s updated voter laws.
In an e-mail to supporters, Cooper moaned that Photo Voter ID and fewer early voting days “can’t be fair”.
He whined that this means that “eligible voters are denied their rights to vote”.
Cooper, the likely Democrat nominee, did not support the reforms made to voting laws in 2014 by the NC General Assembly and supported by Gov. McCrory. Those laws take the fraud out of North Carolina elections.
Liberal groups such as the NAACP and Democracy North Carolina fought against the law.
Beginning this year, Voters must show a photo Voter ID at their polling place. Photo IDs are available FREE at your local NC Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV)..
